Multi-Grammy nominated vocalist Roberta Gambarini has recorded and toured with some of the greatest giants Jazz: from Hank Jones, James Moody, Roy Hargrove, Paquito D'Rivera, The Dizzy Gillespie All Stars Band, Dave Brubeck, Chucho Valdez and more. She has been named Singer of the Year twice by the International Jazz Journalists Association. Her debut "Easy To Love," showcases her 3-octave range and a voice "so pure with phrasing so silky, it seems to flow like water from a spring" (Seattle Times.) "She is a vocal virtuoso, and nearly everything about her singing is perfect...her intonation, her ear for harmony, her vocal tone, her time...and her taste." (The NY Sun.) So too is her to ability bring out the most beauty out of each song, letting the song tell its story.
Roberta Gambarini first met pianist Tamir Hendelman at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, where they performed and gave workshops in the duo format.
Tamir Hendelman recorded on Roberta Gambarini's recordings EASY TO LOVE and SO IN LOVE, and has travelled with her quartet over the years, performing together in the US, Japan and Europe. He is also the long-time pianist in the Jeff Hamilton Trio, Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, leader of his own trio and has recorded/toured with artists including Natalie Cole, Harry Allen, Barbara Streisand, Houston Person, Graham Dechter, Richard Galliano and more.

This is Roberta Gambarini and Tamir Hendelman's first hybrid (online and live) workshop together.
In it, they will explore how to approach a song and honestly tell its story, they will demonstrate different ways to interact between a vocalist and pianist, and how to find your own way with a song.
There will also be a question and answer period.
When you sign up, you will be emailed a zoom link and passcode. Log in as early as 10 minutes before the session to get set up.
